The Wissahickon Spine Center was opened in the Summer of 2013 by Drs Tim and Laura Latham who have since passed the practice on to Dr Angela Mess. The mission of the WSC is to serve the community as providers of safe, science-based, and personalized care for conditions of the musculoskeletal system. The Wissahickon Spine Center utilizes a variety of non-surgical, drug-free solutions for the prevention and management of muscle and joint-related pain. Dr Angela integrates a dynamic blend of manual therapy, physical rehabilitation, clinical nutrition, and lifestyle medicine to help her patients achieve the best results in the least amount of time.

Originally from Youngstown, NY, a small village north of Niagara Falls, Dr. Angela Mess is a Philadelphia transfer after attending undergraduate school at Messiah College in Grantham, PA. Here she completed a Bachelor of Arts in Music, graduating Cum Laude. After living in the Philadelphia area for 9 years she returned to New York to attend New York Chiropractic College in the beautiful Finger Lakes region. Along with completing her Doctor of Chiropractic degree in 2014, she has also achieved a Masters’ Degree in Applied Clinical Nutrition with a special interest in nutritional therapies for chronic disease. While at school she was accepted into Phi Chi Omega Honors Society. In her spare time Dr. Angela enjoys traveling, rock climbing, kayaking, hiking, enjoying time with family and friends, and exploring the City of Brotherly Love.
